Frequently Asked Questions

QUESTION: I thought an insurance company was required to pay me the proper value for my claim, so how can an attorney help me?

ANSWER: Your opinions of the value of the case, the insurance company's opinions of the value of your case, and a jury's opinion of the value of your case may widely differ. There is no set formula to determine the value of a claim. Insurance companies have an incentive to settle a case for as little as possible. An attorney that you hire will have a similar incentive to maximize the value of your claim. Your attorney should have the knowledge and experience to help maximize the value of your claim.
