Frequently Asked Questions

QUESTION: I was in a motorcycle accident, but I was not wearing a helmet. Do I still have a claim?

ANSWER: Similar to not wearing a seatbelt in an auto accident, the failure to wear a helmet does not in and of itself bar you from making a claim for your injuries. However, it may affect the amount of compensation to which you are entitled. Be sure to mention this fact when you consult with an attorney.
